SG-BCC 2021: What a great first day!

What an exciting first day it was! Here is a little recap of day 1 of the Virtual St.Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference:

  • With more than 3.000 delegates from over 94 countries, our first day was off to a great start
  • 107 questions have been raised (and answered) during our live discussion sessions. Don’t miss out on your chance to ask your questions tomorrow…
  • We have gained more insights into care for patients with HER-positive and with ER-positive breast cancer. Predictive and prognostic biomarkers in breast cancer were in focus of the discussion.

What’s on today?
On day 2 the conference will discuss the sessions on locoregional treatment, including surgical treatment of the axilla as well as on local breast surgery. The neoadjuvant approach is being discussed as well.
Another highlight is the ESO Umberto Veronesi Memorial Award Lecture by Fatima Cardoso from Portugal, taking place at 12.00 CET. Find out more in our programme.
