cancellation and modifciation conditions
Cancellation and modification conditions: All cancellations must be sent to St. Gallen Oncology Conferences in writing (fax, letter or e-mail). For cancellations received before 31 January 2020, an administrative fee of CHF 50.00 will be charged. As of 1 February 2020, no refund will be credited.
Olma Messen is situated in the city of St.Gallen, the historic, cultural and educational center of Eastern Switzerland. St.Gallen is easily accessible:
Zurich International Airport is connected with direct intercity trains to and from St.Gallen every 30 min. (one hour train-ride, for detailed time tables please visit www.sbb.ch.
Please note that further airports nearby are situated in Stuttgart and Munich.
Swiss federal highway system (Autobahn A1) 1 hour from/to Zurich (Airport)-area; 2 hours from/to Basel, Bern and Lucerne. For conference site take highway exit «St.Gallen-Kreuzbleiche». Follow the signs for „Olma Messen“. Ca. 5 minutes by car after leaving the motorway.
Car parking: Olma Messen has got car parking facilities (Sonnenstrasse 39), which can be used by the conference participants. The parking area is directly below the congress center.
Tickets for the parking can be obtained at the St.Gallen Oncology Conferences desk (CHF 12.00/day)
St.Gallens‘ mainstation is well connected: Intercity trains from/to Zurich main station are available every 30 min (65 min. train-ride via Zurich Airport); eurocity trains every 2 hours from/to Munich/Germany (3 hour train-ride) and connections serving Stuttgart-St.Gallen every 2 hours with a 3,5 hour train ride. For detailed train schedules please visit www.sbb.ch. This website of the Swiss Federal Railway provides also information re international connections.
The conference venue is situated about 1300m from the main station. Buses are leaving every 8 minutes to Olma Messen. The ride takes 7-8 minutes. Taxis are always waiting in front of the station (taxi ride of five minutes or 15 min. walk).
You reach the OLMA Messen by bus with bus line no. 3, 4, 6 and 200 from St. Gallen main station. The timetable to/from „St. Gallen, OLMA Messen“ can be found here: www.sbb.ch.

You are invited to submit an abstract relevant to the main theme of the 5th International Gastrointestinal Cancer Conference: Focus on Oligometastatic Disease.

» Presenter registration deadline : Wednesday, 15 January 2020
Accepted abstracts are supposed to be shown at the conference as a poster.
Please find below some useful information for a successful abstract submission and publication:
Format, content and structure
» Titles should be short (max. 30 words) and indicative of the content of the abstract.
» Capital letters should only be used for words usually capitalized (e.g. CRC).
» A maximum of 2300 characters incl. title and spaces is possible.
» Abstracts should be structured in aims, methods, results and conclusions of the study, with emphasis on results.
» Abstracts must be carefully checked for errors and misspellings before submission.
» Every submitted abstract has to name a presenting author who agrees to be the contact person re this abstract and who is actually presenting the poster of the abstract on-site (see obligations for abstract authors / submitters below).
Abstracts which do not fulfil the submission criterias will be rejected.
Obligations for abstract authors / submitters
» The abstract has to be presented at the conference venue as a poster.
» The presenting author of the abstract has to be registered until 15 January 2020 (notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent early January 2020). If the presenting author has not been registered until 15 January 2020, the abstract will be withdrawn and accordingly the abstract will not be published.
» The copyright of the abstract is released with the submission to St. Gallen Oncology Conferences. The authors allow the publication of the abstract in the chosen scientific journal of Elsevier, as well as online on the St. Gallen Oncology Conferences website.
